John Fitzpatrick letter book, 1875-1878.

The letter book contains copies of letters written by Fitzpatrick on topics including the donation of ground in the Metairie Cemetery to the Louisiana Division of the Association of the Army of Northern Virginia (1875-1876); fund raising for the association in conjunction with the Louisiana Lottery Association (1875); the recovery and preservation of a battle flag of the 15th Louisiana Regiment along with other relics and records (1877); and a reunion of the Louisiana Division of the Army of Northern Virginia (1878).
